Work History and Education of Sherry Desselle, Ph.D.

From 1988 to 1999 Dr. Desselle worked at the Department of Neuropsychiatry at the Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center. She held various clinical positions at TTUHSC, ultimately as the Outpatient Program Director for the Southwest Institute, a division of the Department of Neuropsychiatry. She graduated from an APA-accredited counseling psychology program at Texas Tech University, completed her pre-doctoral internship at the University of Texas at Austin and her post-doctoral year at the University of Houston. From 2006 to 2010 Dr. Desselle worked as the Trauma Treatment Specialist for Capital Area Human Services District in Baton Rouge. She opened her private practice, Baton Rouge Center for Anxiety Treatment, LLC, in the summer of 2010.
